really...is vitosha open?

i am getting nervous, i cant seem to find any info on the web that will tell me if skiing is open at vitosha. PLEASE HELP!! thanks douger

just found this but dont know how current it is.

VITOSHA 1810 m.
Status : Skiing conditions are still poor. Pistes are not groomed yet.
Mountain resque service: +359 48 1840, +359 88 1472.

Yes, mountain service report that is updated every day gives only 20cm snow and no skiing conditions. That is one of the problems in Vitosha, you need a lot of snow to open the pists, because of the huge stones that need to be covered. It usually starts last. But if you are staying in Sofia, then you can easily go to Borovetz for the day.
