rental skis

can anyone tell me what the rental skis are like in borovets, can you get hold of this years salomon streetracers, also what are the boots like, i have my own equipment but are concerned for my family.

Hi I was there over New Year and skis and boots were very poor. None of the ski depots had any new equipment. I am back out there on 12/2 and we will go straight to the ski market in Sofia to fully kit us out.The snow is apparantly fantastic though! Steve

My mate and I are going to Borovets at the end of Feb and got the gist from your last post that the ski market in Sofia is the place for equipment. Is this hire and if so how much are we looking at for the fortnight? cheers Hugo
