arriving late sat, just wanted 2 know if the bank in the rila is open sat nite, or sunday as the rate 2day in england is less than 2 levs to the pound thanks

You could always get a little from the Rila bank atm.

Last season, the Rila bank stayed open 24 hours at weekend, so you maybe lucky. If not, as TD said, use the cash machine outside the Rila.

we arrived late saturday with no lev and we were able to exchange with a waiter in the Rila restaurant, short bald guy we nick named Elvis he gave us 2.10 we were there between 10th and 17th January 09. No problems, even the booths on the street are open late, be careful which one you use , exchange plus is good they give receipts and we got 2.07.
