can anyone help, whats the difference between rila hotel and apartments, the apartments are listed as half board so wheres the catch?, are they as nice?re: rila hotel / apartments
One has a self catering kitchen and one doesn't...The Rila is massive and the appartments are on the left wing i belive so it's a bit of a walk to get to the front doors..Tiger

No worries SwissThe appartments & the hotel rooms are all part of the same building. We stayed in the appartments twice and the main hotel lobby is a 30 sec walk once you exit the lift.Some of the rooms face the slopes and the others face the car park. If you are unlucky you will get a room next of the lift which keeps running all night and can be a bit noisy.Other than that its the best locacted hotel in the resort. Hiya, we stayed in a room last Feb and an appartment last week, the only difference is that the appts have bunk beds as well as 2 singles and a 2 ring cooker and tiny saucepan to boil water for drinks, (not exactly cooking facilities) appartment was identtical to room but slightly bigger, as for the distance to reception, it took longer from the room than the appartment. We are going back there in Feb to stay in a room and the really good news is that the food seems to have improved since ...
