royal lodge

anyone got any comments/feedback on the royal lodge & spa? staying there in feb so distance from town centre etc..thanx

Very short mini-bus ride to the slopes.

If you want to walk to town for the evening it takes about 15 mins.

Fab swimming pool in the complex, so take your cossie. Very classy spa as well.

I was there last feb and returning in March 09. Very nice hotel with a ski bus leaving every 30 mins. As stated before its a bit of a walk into town but a new road has been layed which should make it a lot better. Rooms very nice warm and comfortable, Pool and spa excellent restauraunt ok.

Was in royal lodge last monthVery nice hotel large rooms with all mod cons tv in bedroom and living room,large seperate entrace hall to kick off ski gear great bar .walk was about 15 mins to town centre an nice walk throgh the pine trees, but they have there own minibuses.If you take a taxi give them no more than 8 lev they will ask dbl but be firm.Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
