ruined by thomsons ????

Hi all
A word of warning to all that have booked with thomsons , check and recheck your booking! why do i say this to you all , well its simple , we booked with thomsons through 1st choice , booked in jan to go xmas week to boro stayin in the rila, booked 4 studio apartments , had to change one family as they couldnt make it but friends took their place , just have to cancel the 2 children off, told 1st choice we still needed and wanted the 4 studios , had to put the changes in writing ...

A word of warning to all that have booked with thomsons , check and recheck your booking! why do i say this to you all , well its simple , we booked with thomsons through 1st choice , booked in jan to go xmas week to boro stayin in the rila, booked 4 studio apartments , had to change one family as they couldnt make it but friends took their place , just have to cancel the 2 children off, told 1st choice we still needed and wanted the 4 studios , had to put the changes in writing all was set! till thomson sent me the booking details , and wot do i find , but we now have 3 studios , and to add to insult are charging us more ? 10 days and it still is an on going battle , thomsons dont really care ! no more studios left will offer us a room for 2 but at a charge of course ! 1st choice are doing all they can , and i know this as ive just sat 3 hours down there with them while all the phone calls were going on ! and thomsons are sooooooo rude on the phone too , so all please check them details ??????

the reason thomson are so rude is because they have to pay 1st choice a commision who are their competitor.if you get a bad service maybe thomson think you will blame the agent and not the tour operator and not use 1st choice again?
but then again were all just a number and of no importance

yes you are right ! but i think its a case of them getting to big for their boots? we should have known they couldnt get it right when it took them 4 trys just to get the names right on the booking form !!!!good old thomsons !!!!!!!
