samakov town

anybody been to the town of samakov? is it worth a look at night?

Yeah , went there whilst holidaying in boro mid Jan one afternoon , not worth a look at night tho , but worh an afternoon's shopping / bargain hunting,go for a drink in a bar in samokov town and then you will see how much the bulgarians in borovets are conning you !

Kel youre not being conned its called market forces! And the town is well worth it at night if you know where to go, there are some great restaurants, and the prices are very very good, would always reccomend the chineese and the 'old house' if you can get in.
also the off licences down in the town make the taxi fare worth it alone.
you should pay 10 lev in to town , but haggle first, cause its obvious you are a tourist.
