samokov hotel

Hi again , the pest back. Can anyone tell us if there are tea / coffee making facilities in bedrooms at the Samokov? Obviously with the amount of trivial questions you'll have worked out it's our first time to Bulgaria (and first skiing hol). All help gratefully appreciated. See you 4th March. 2 more sleeps yeeha!!!!!!!!!!!

Never stayed in that one, but I doubt it very much. I always take a wee travel kettle and a box of 3in1

There were not and tea or coffee making facilities in the Samokov hotel bedrooms when I was there two years ago. I doubt here are now. Hope this helps.

It is probably best to buy some water for drinking.

The water is drinkable and fine for cleaning your teeth in, but it is high in minerals and can sometime upset a few tummies, so I agree with skier22 - if you intend drinking a lot of it then it's best to go for bottled. And it's cheap enough too.

Put it this way, when I stayed there, the plugs didn't work.

Im at the samokov at the moment.
No kettles in the room, plug sockets are in a bad state, but the ones ive used the last 2 years worked. just unplug the TV or fridge if you need another.

im not risking drinking the tap water, 1.5l bottle of water is 1lev at the supermarkets.

The ski is amazing, see you on the 4th
