Iglika everytime!
Stayed there this year in Feb and thought it was excellent.
Warm, comfortable, good food, perfect location.

This year was our third year back at the Iglika, and we really recommend it. The superior rooms are really worth the £32 per week -loads of space. (Got a £35 discounty for booking online through Balkan!)

Food is good, bar is nice and fairly reasonable (Very reasonable when compared to the Rila!) Reception staff helpfull and good English, Ski hire man nice. Dinning staff a bit grumpy... but hey?!

trip advisor was for the year, but as you say take it all with a pinch of salt, defo booking iglika now 1st march, fingers crossed for a gud snowy week.food cant be any worse than the samokov anyway. which ski school do they use if were in the iglika

Definately the Iglika, stayed last 2 years and have booked for next year. Would also agree with earlier post about booking a superior room as standard rooms are tiny. The Iglika has a great bar area and the food is good. Go for it!!

thanks gonna book it on sunday,anybody no re which ski school that will have to go to, were booking thro balkan so do they use the samokov ski school.

NO !!! Balkan use Boro sport,so do yourself a favour and book else where...

I've used Fraser twice this yr,all good gear with fab instructors,a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for...

thanks for that we booked through balkan this year and they used the samokov ski school so i just presumed it would be the same if we stayed in the iglika . who is the best

I booked with Balkan, stayed at Rila and had Borosports. We've never had problems with Borosport but some have.

wonder if you can choose who you use, found another gud deal staying in the ela hotel so undecided now thats with crystal holidays.
