my friend is going on her first visit to Bulgaria on the 5-6th March 2004. she is worried about the real threat of the prostitution problems in the hotels etc. If any body can let us know if they have encoutered any problems it would be great. ( i think shes more worried about finding a good pimp as early as possible!!!). (prices are available by pre booking!!)

Don't worry for her. Despite all the stories that you can hear, Bulgaria is a safer country than UK or France for a single woman. Women here can go out alone at 3 am without any threat !!
And prostitution concerns only the ones that want to do it...

I stayed in the Rila hotel and there were some prostitutes in the bar there at around 11/12! But there's nothing to worry about I was walking around from club to pub at half 3 some nights half 4 alone and I was save and felt save too! Hope your mate enjoys her self as much as I did Very Happy
