short breaks?

Anyone know if it is possible to do a short break to Bansko (i'm thinking long weekend - say 3 or 4 nights). Don't mind flying to plovdiv or sofia and i'm fine to go independently but I need to know which airlines will be able to accomodate my requirements?

Cheers

try bulgaria air, dont know there prices but think they fligh most days, i have an email from someone through this sight who rents out an appartment if you want the details let me know. would it not be quicker to go up to scotland or over to france or italy, just thinking about flight times and transfer thats all. also your return transfers from the airport will be about £100

re: short breaks?

Me thinks not Chis.

I enquired in Thomson Travel about 3 weeks ago and they could not find anything.

If you find anything let me know.

re: short breaks?

Will do Pete.

Sam you're right about France/Scotland but I was thinking of doing a bit more research on propertys with skiing if I get chance. Having said that, knowing me I will probably end up skiing every last minute - until I drop, too tired to look at estate agents!!!

re: short breaks?

Wizz are the cheapest to Sofia and Lufthansa also do the flights. It is possible but with a three hour flight and a 3.5 hr transfer it'll be difflecult. Don't get me wrong, I love bulgaria and especially Bansko but when it comes to short breaks, flights to Geneva and skiing in the Alps is prob your best option but it depends how much you enjoy the flight/transfer part of your ski break.

re: short breaks?

Sorry Chris. Must have over lapped your post above. Did not realise property was involved.

Best bet I think would be wizz air. Flights going every day from Luton but not direct.

Chris

I know Bulgaria Air fly from Manchester out on a Thursday and back on a Sunday. I know coz Im going 6th - 9th April.

I can't help you further unfortunately coz it was all booked as a viewing trip through the agent Im using.

It is possible though.

Hope this helps.
