my brother came out of the playboy bar which is just up the main road about 50 yard up from the gondola.He was rather inebriated and as we had walked in a loop past francos etc he thought he was quite far away from the hotel so he got a taxi.We were staying at the Samakov at most a 30 second walk away.What a pleb
the driver took him on a bit of a mystery tour and charged him 10lev.So the golden rule is you can't trust the taxi drivers

Pleased you said you can't trust taxi drivers and not Bulgarian taxi drivers. I've had the same thing happen to me in the UK although I didn't just step out of a playboy bar.re: shortest taxi ride?
