re: sierra nevarda

ive been loads a times and its very good...there are more runs than borovets and plenty of offpiste to be had...but its very expensive to stay there...i usually stay in a b&b in granada cos its only a 20 min drive..and flights to granada are dirt cheap...and if you bring a load of ciggies back then your trip will cost you nothing..
its gets very busy at the weekend though so a midweek trip is better.

re: sierra nevarda

I went last year (my first ski trip)
I found it quite a diffilcult place to learn.
To get down all the way down mountain you have to encounter a quite steep red near the bottom.
Unfortunately due to piste closure for two days (high winds) I didn't make it all the way down.;-(
The slopes wern't too crowded but I did a Sunday - Friday holiday.
It cost me included flights, ski pass, ski hire Hotel 3* HB (food was good) £450.00
Its a good resort, personally I found it not too expensive and ...

I will go back one day.
Very much looking forward to Borovets in March.
