ski and boot hire in borovets

hi there everyone, i'm off to borovets with a mate on the 14th and was wondering if anyone out there has been before and know what sort of quality the ski and boot's are like for hire? If anyone can put my mind at rest i'd be gratefull and get the first round of drinks in if they're about on the 14th to 21st

Boots and skis are ok but try paying the blokes who give them out a few extra Lev as it helps in most cases...

Hi there, i have just come back from borovets and the hire gear is good, i went boarding but noticed that all the ski hire equipment was saloman as well as the boarding gear.

hi rossco, not being one for turning down try the ski shop next to the White Majic they do excellent hire, also try down by the Gondola on the right.
You can put in for me at the white majic. If you are still there for the 21jan you will have picked the best wk, I have been here for the past 5 yrs and it has dumped down every time.

I got brand new boots from the hire place next to the gondola. They were excellent and I was asked if I wanted to go "avalanche boarding" with a pro-boarder as he thought I must be good if I had those boots!

I was a beginner!

hi there,

have you booked a package if so i think it depends on which hotel you stay in. otherwise quality depends on when you go and what you want to pay. we're going out on the 14th and staying at the rila and hoping to get better quality equipment!! see you in the bar on the 14th!
