ski angels!

Hi has anyone out there heard of ski angels or they might be snow angels apparently they stick to your shins to stop boots rubbing have tried to get them in usual places (millets,oswald bailey,and ski shop) no luck! am going to borovets on feb 25th staying in hotel olym has anyone ever stayed there ? i have been checking out the discussion board for last few weeks all tips and advice on where to go is great but no mention about that hotel , (but if its crap i would rather not know!! ) ...

Hi Lucie, I don't realy know what you are after, But there is a new hotel, opened this season called "ICE ANGELS" It is right on the nursary slope at the top end of Boreovets near the Rila hotel.

Thanks tanjette i went on the link as you suggested at first all i seemed to read were negatives but then i realised maybe it is best to be prepared and not expect too much . i am going out on 25th feb with husband and 2 kids and another couple can you recommend the best places to eat and hang out in the evenings ? thanks alot lucie Smile Smile

Hi, I'm looking for these too. Very sore shins. Any luck locating a supplier. One of the instructors at the slope I go to wears them. I'm going to ask where he got them from on Saturday. The best link I've found is on Google. If you type in ski-angel, gives the company that manufactures them but no supplier. Good luck, let me know if you've located a supplier.

Lucie, Further to my previous note, I've managed to get hold of a pair from my local dry ski slope. The packaging gives the details of manufacturer and how to obtain them.
