on the first day when u get your boots from the hire place i guess you have to leave your shoes there. some people have recommended that u keep your boots with u at the hotel to make sure u keep the same pair, but does this mean u cant get your other shoes back til the end when u return your boots?If so i better pack another pair to wear in the evenings!

always a good idea to have more than one pair of shoes on a skiing holiday, but you dont have to leave your shoes, well that is certainly the case in borovetsre: ski boots
No one I know has ever taken the hire boots back to the hotel and they have never had them changed for a different pair.
If you do do that I suggest you tell the ski depot as one little girl in our party left her skis with a privated ski instructor over night and the staff were very anxious when they saw the ski's missing - not because they were worried somoene had lost the ski's but more that a little girl could be lost up the mountain.

When you hand your boots and skis in at the end of the day you have to put your boots onto your skis so you keep the same boots for the week. Been to borovets for two years and this is what we have done and have kept the same boots for the week.re: ski boots
In Pamporovo Ski Depot 2, you are given a number, this is the number on the rack where you leave your skis and on the shelf where you leave your boots. In my opinion, wear a good pair of rubber soled boots to and from the depot, then change into your ski gear!Ally

In Boro in the bigger depos you get given a number which you use the next day to collect the same boots and skis that you started with.Everyday day on returning your gear you always get a number.re: ski boots
Hi,In past years I've always taken my boots back to the hotel. This so they can dry out next to the radiator. After a days skiing boot can bit damp inside, either snow or sweat. If you do take them back with you, tell the depot guy, and thier usally ok with it.
