Flying with Balkan next week. Does anyobdy know if I will be able to take my ski boots as hand luggage?

Yes you can, I saw quite a few people doing this a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't a problem.

Thanks for that. Cant fit them in my case as Im going for 2 weeks and only have 20kg luggage. On the plus side im taking skis, so planning to put all ski clothes for me and my boyfriend in my ski bag

I flew with Bulgaria Air last year and they said no way could we take them as hand luggage as if they fell out of the overheads they could kill someone - that said i've just flown back on easyjet WEARING my boots - i'm not a happy bunny!!

If i were you i'd check before hand and get written (printed) confirmation if they say it's ok...
