ski boots

I'm thinking about buying new boots in Pamporovo. Any advise on number of shops and range?

re: ski boots

Ski boots are available all over the resort and there is a good selection on styles, colours, designs and manufacturers. My advice would be to buy early in your holiday so you get the benefit throughout your stay. Take somebody with you who knows about ski boots, like your instructor or a friend who has good knowledge of what is best. Take time in choosing the right boot for you and don't just try them on but walk around in them for several minutes. The shops in the passage between the ...

re: ski boots

Me personally would go to a shop in the UK and find a pair that is comfy and suits you, then buy them out there..

Problem is,buying them in BG you'll struggle with a yrs warranty and if they brake then how are you gonna take them back?

I got my first pair of boots last yr and took them back 3 times to get them to fit correctly best £200 i ever spent, but the shop i got them from told me if they couldn't get it right in 3 goes then i could change them no questions asked, doubt you'll get ...

re: ski boots

I bought my boots and SKi's in Pamps last year, in one of the shops between the Perelik & Murgavetz's. The gentleman in the shop was very helpful. I did take a Bulgarain Friend with me, I got a good deal just short of £200 for boots, Ski's and poles.

re: ski boots

From my experience you will be much better off buying your ski boots in the UK so that you can get them fit tested and heat moulded to your foot before you go skiing abroad. If you wait until you get to Bulgaria you can pretty much waste most of a days skiing trying to find the boots you like and are suited to your feet and then have them heat moulded etc.

Personally, I would rather get off the plane ready to get the very first gondola and make the most of my well earned 6 day ski holiday.

re: ski boots

Hi, I would agree with most of the posts here saying buy in the uk.
I had a problem with my feet that i didnt know about untill i had my boots fitted and it took two visits and a total of 4 hrs to have them moulded and blown, but like everyone says and like i can vouch for its the best money i have ever spent and i also now know why i was in absolute agony on my first visit to borovets with the poor quality rental boots.
