I'm new to posting, and skiing really, will be 3rd time in BG, coming to Boro, samakov on 6th and have impulsively purchased ski boots (instead of a fleece)- cos they'regonna make me a better skiier!!! so..now do i pack them in luggage, carry on as hand luggage will i need to pay for extra kg (20 allowed). Any advice very welcome. Thanks JULIE

We always pack our ski boots in our hold luggage and usually end up with approx. 18.5 Kg per bag. Have a great time, we were there three weeks ago and had a brilliant holiday, although the snow was becoming a bit sparse here and there. I gather that more has fallen and is forecast, so it should be hunky dory.

You are not allowed to take them on as hand luggage any more. Their excise is it's because of the extra weight on the plane. So they have to go in the hold.....

Thanks for that James, and Paul. It was one of those purchases which left me thinking oh what have i done. Its a struggle to pack efficiently at the best of times..so looks like the kettle will stay at home.
