ski carriage

Im after some advice. Have been bought a pair of skis for xmas and am off to pamps in 2 weeks time. Have paid £21 for the ski carriage. I was wondering if anybody knows whether or not I will be able to fill my ski bag with salopettes. Also any recommendations as to what is best to protect my skis would be appreciated??

re: ski carriage

Hi Laura

fill your kit bag with everything that you ski with. We do it every time and as long as you keep under the wight limit you'll have no problem!!! Use the gear to pack out ur skis and kit and that will be enough to protect them!

re: ski carriage

I would keep my ski gear seperate from my skis, at least then if your skis dont turn up you still have your gear and can hire a pair.

re: ski carriage

what happens when your ski gear doesnt turn up??
you go the boozer of course!!

laura your ski bag should be padded but you can always wrap your skis in your ski gear, fleeces etc.. i always take a massive board bag and fill it with boards, skis, clothes...basically, anything i can squish into it.. last year my bag weighed 40kg, the check-in girls didnt raise an eyebrow.

Thanks for the feedback. Will fill my bag with mine andmy boyfriends ski clothes then, as was worrying that we would go over the weight limit as we're going for two weeks.

re: ski carriage

We bought snowboard bags for our skis. Same carriage price but you can get 3 times the amount in them.
