ski equipiment

hi i am going skiing next year as a beginner ski equipment is being provided for us (all beginners) but what does it include? and what equipiment do i need to bring please write back! many thanks!

Ski equipment is usually skis, poles, boots and lift passes. If you've booked a ski package, it will usually include ski school for a set number of hours per day (generally 4).

You will need to take ski wear - a thermal base layer (top and bottoms), a mid layer (fleece or similar), ski jacket and salopettes, ski socks, hat and gloves. You might also want to have sunglasses or goggles.

As well as this, you'll need all the usual stuff - casual clothes for evenings, toiletries and so on.

sunglasses are a must. you are at higher altitude than you are used to and last week it was very sunny. reflects off the snow. don't forget sunblock. there were some very red people walking around after the first day. (put it on the back of your ears as well.)
