re: ski gear

Usually most ski/boot hire units are new or good condition at the beginning of the season. Just be very fussy when trying on boots and if the skis look dodgy ( check the bindings for any give in the actual connections to the ski) wear correct socks, I made the mistake of useing thick woolies and payed the price soar shins.

When are you thinking of going ?

re: ski gear

There is top material - it will not be cheap
and there is the worst you can think of - it will be cheap.
Be critical - if you understand about ski gear yourself, if you don't; ask for advice from someone (you trust) who does.
My advice, take your own ski boots. Good ski's are not hard to find / hire.

re: ski gear

there are about 5 or 6 good rental shops ... use these rather than pre booked with operator ... like most things once you pre pay you will get poor service ... and dont forget to haggle for the best deal .. good luck Razz

re: ski gear

Agree with snow plough here,if it's wrong don't except it,in the past i've given skis and boots back and have always got something satisfactory back..

If your looking to hire when you get there then you'll have no problem if you have a quick look around..
