re: ski goggles

I only have single lens goggles. So long as you have vents above and below the frame then you'll be fine.
They sometimes get a bit misty if they've been lifted up on to your snowy damp hat for a while but they clear in a few seconds when you pull them down onto your face again. Cool

re: ski goggles

I've had both over the last couple of years and there is a big difference between the two.

I don't know what age your family are that you are buying for, but the single lens may just be another (albeit small) hassle that you don't need.

We gave our (then 10 year old) girl single lens ones on her first time out, but they kept steaming up because she couldn't manage to put them onto her face and leave them there.

The next time out she had to wear har dads double lens ones which at least when she kept lifting them off her face (which for some reason she had to do when she stopped at anytime) they didn't mist up the same.

By the end of the week she was managing to keep the googles on her face for a slightly longer periods of time, so I'm not sure the issue was as big (though still there). But it looks like she's keeping her dads googles and he'll be buying new (doubles) lens ones! (Any excuse!)

Oh thank you pepe! Smile (Just wait till I show my partner youe statement!)

I think I'm just learning that what an adult will find acceptable, can become a real pain where kids are involved.

Anything that makes life that one little bit easier when travelling with kids is worth the few extra pounds.

Just a note to anyonelooking at googles for children. Our ten year old is of average size and her dads (adult) googles were just the right size. The childrens ones we'd looked at ...

re: ski goggles

I need to check, but I'm fairly certain they are Tog24.
They were about £30 from their outlet store last year.

Rachel didn't complain once about them misting up, so I know they must have been okay. We knew about everything else that wasn't okay!
