ski helmets

After reading the discussions about helmets (ski wear that is) over the last week i understand it is safer to wear one on the slopes. Can any one tell me weather i will be able to hire one whilst in pamporovo. If so where? If not can i buy one, where and how much Question and finnaly i am going to beginner ski school. Is it wise to wear a helmet for this or should i wait untill i get on the slopes................thats if i need one at all..........please give advice i leave a week today Neutral Neutral Neutral ...

the first couple of days in ski school you spend on the nursery slopes and will probably be stood around a lot not doing much so possibly wound'nt need one, on the slopes if you feel safer wearing one do it. there are a lot of ski shops in pamps resort and there is the ski shack near the slopes run by an english guy that was a rep. iam sure they would be able to sort you out with a helmet or advice you wether you need one or not. (as you get off the bus and walk down the slope to the ski ...

buy a helmet in uk and get it fitted proper, take no risks you do not need to ski fast to fall awkward.
