Hi Kas (and anyone else that can help).
I'm booking my accomodation through Bulgaria Ski but they have said they can't help me with ski hire.
Can I get some advice where I can pre-book (six days from 15/02/09:
skis/boots/poles for 4 people, and lift passes for 4 people. Will it be cheaper if we get ski lessons included?
Thanks,
Duy
hi Duy - this is a thread from last January that was topped at the end of October.
Probably best to start a new thread of your own, but just in case this helps, you can book all you need here on this website -Don't know why Bulgaria Ski say they can't help. click on the BOROVETS heading at the top and scroll down the left hand column to Services. Copy/paste this link...

People highly recommend Fraser from Chalet Iskar for lessons, and I have heard Hunters ski school at the Flora Hotel are good too. Definitely book before you go as it is cheaper than in resort.
I'm out there the same week as you, staying at the Royal Plaza with 3 teenagers. Where are you staying?
We will be going to Brovets in February and are skiing for the first time. We have bought ski packs which includes boots and skis but neither of us have other equipment such as waterproof trousers and goggles. Does anyone know if it is easy to hire them in Borovets or would we be better to buy them in Borovets or the UK?
Never hired gear, but you can pick up gear pretty cheap now, try Aldi, a whole suit is only £40, you will need good quality gloves and socks so should be able to get kitted out quite reasonably
Hi there, we are going to Borovets on Saturday and not sure whether to arrange our ski hire and lift passes through the tour guide which they said has to be done during the transfer, or whether it would be cheaper for us just to do it when we get there through the ski hire shop. What's the story as it sounds as though they want us to pay in pounds before we see the ski shop prices?
Thanks
Liby
We would very much be intrerested in hiring Fraser as our personal instructor in Borovets. Arriving Borovets Midday on the 29th. of January 09' for a weeks stay. Wife is a novice, I have mileage and need a little current advice. Not die hard skiers, fun couple just wanting to enjoy our stay with someone experienced with the local ins and outs of Borovets. Will also need some modern equipment, not bear trap bindings, if you know what I mean!!
Look forward to hearing a positive response. 2-3 ...

Look forward to hearing a positive response. 2-3 morning lessons would be most desirable. If you can fit us into your schedule it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Steve and Jayne
