Did not know that - seems a pity if that is the case although the prices offered on this site do look very very competitve
Not sure if Pamporovo or Borovets charged non-Bulgarians more for lift passes, as I know Bansko employs this rather unfair, but I guess understandable surcharge
I had heard that someone else had a problem because they had booked through a uk company, I personally booked through here, so got looked after very well!
I booked everything through Balkan Holidays... they only go to the Balkans so I thought they would know the area the best... although they have just changed our arrival airport to Polodiv from Sofia everything else seems good.
Also Balkan Holidays (London) answer emails sent to them very quickly
unfortunately i've already booked through inghams on lastminute.com cause was v. cheap and i am a pikey student. maybe i'll try them. thing is i don't want lessons just ski pass and skis. cheers for all the info
If you are a very advanced skiier, fine, you don't need lessons, but lessons are not just for beginners. They divide you up into beginners, intermediates and advanced. If you can book the full ski package for £100.00, its worth it. You can always drop out of your group after a couple of days. Also, a great way of meeting people.
