ski jackets

Hi, here is another stupid question from a complete beginner? is it best to wear ski jacket to travel in or best to pack them in suitcase? My husband who skied has skied before many years ago says to wear them but i am not sure whether to believe him he will say anything to keep our luggage down to a minimum!! He was the one who told me it was ok to ski in jeans!! and you only need one pair of thermal socks each for a week!!!

I allways wear my jacket on the plane as indeed it does save space in your bags, but i wouldnt recomend skiing in jeans at all and i think you will need more than one pair of socks for the week unless you want people to not talk to you when your out on the evenings.

Hi carol, typical hubbie.!! Yes its best to wear your jacket it gives you some cover when you get to your destination. Besides that it gives you more luggage space to pack those extras that us women like to take

Yeah Trace you are right, need room for hairdryer, straighteneres, curling tongs, makeup, toiletries etc etc.........

i always wore my ski jacket on the plane and on the transfer but this yeah i wore a different coat which wasnt a problem with the packing because we had enough room in our cases, and we weren't cold either, but its up to you
