ski kindergarten Pamporovo

Hi all, we are off to Pamporovo for our first family ski holiday. We are going with Crystal ski and have put our 6 yr old into the ski kindergarten (fun in the snow). Was wondering if anyone has used this before with their little uns?

Any comments gratefully received.

re:ski kindergarten Pamporovo

I haven't personally but friends of ours did a couple of years ago. She said they were excellent, good skiing tuition, attentive and more important her 6 yr old daughter loved it.

My boys on 14 months but ill book him in as soon as he's old enough Razz

Hi there,
We have used that kindergarden for a couple of years. We are just back from spending new year in bulgaria and used it again. Our kids are presently 6 and 4 and they loved it. The ladies are well organised and attentive, but firm with the kids! (In my opinion the perfect balance of good cop bad cop going on). The kids ski every morning from around 10 - 11am (Weather permitting). Come in warm up, watch TV, colour in, do puzzles etc. Then go for lunch and usually do sledging in the ...

I usually tool the kids out at about 2pm and let them ski with us and there was no problem with borrowing the equipment (As long as you return it before 4pm).

Don't expect huge progress with the skiing - very difficult to do much with around 7-10 little ones. Best to spend a little time with them yourselves. But the kids will certainly enjoy the kindergarden and they will be well looked after!

Any other questions - just ask
Have a lovely holiday
Julie

Thank you so much Julie for the detailed comment. Based on what you have said we will probably do something similar, take her out in the afternoon and come with us. We want her to have fun, but we want her to learn how to ski too.

cheers

Anthony.

You could always arrange for some private tuition for little ones. Its not expensive and they will progress with their skiing much better than they would in the large group. Useful if you are not that confident teaching them yourselves.
I've used the kindergarten and my kids always enjoyed it.

re:ski kindergarten Pamporovo

That sounds like something we probably will do. I can ski but not well enough to teach someone else. We will judge it when we get there, but most probably leave her in the kindergarten in the morning and then pay for an hour or two tuition each afternoon. She should get the best of both worlds then.
