Anyone with kids in Kindergarten - pamps - 6-12 Feb?Or anyone any experience of Kindergarten, do they do enough Skiing or will they need a couple of private lessons as well?

my daughter's seven and she's booked into kindergarten. We'll be staying at the hotel pamporovo.I was a bit concerned about what they get up to but replies to my queries and worries have put my mind at a bit of ease, seems they do ski and get up to lots of other activities.
what age is your child? we could maybe meet up there?! I'll be in learn to ski school (first timers!)

Hi KittyMy daughter is 8, that sounds good as she'll have someone same age to play with. My son's 11 so he'll be in the learn to ski school. That's my next worry as he might be on his own as well. I have skiied before but have still booked lessons, but won't be in the same group as him. He really wanted to do snow boarding but balkan said they didn't take them until age 13! We're in hotel Finalandia.

I have no idea where the finlandia is in relation to us (waiting to see if one of the kindly folk here will forward my this new map they were on about...?!).
I think it'd be great for my girly to meet up with someone round the same age! We need to arrange something! We arrive the evening of the 6th so the kindergarten/ski school business will be Monday morning I suppose. Your boy might be in my class at school - then get advanced while I struggle on no doubt!

We're going to Finlandia on 6th as well. All of us booked in ski school & I have boy aged 12. We're flying from Humberside, hope to see you there.Gill

We are also on the Humberside flight so will look out for your boy of 12.You will easily recognise us - one surly looking boy in baggy jeans and quicksilver T shirt and one blonde haired girl who won't sit still.

We'll look out for you. The boys sound as though they'll get on as they'll be in more or less the same gear. Have you bought thermals, I wasn't going to but after reading some other replies I'll be going to get some.Gill

Yes i have bought thermals for all of us.Got mine at aldi just after xmas but not sure if have any left now. Got daughters at m& S ordered on line, got husbands at asda kingswood last week, got sons long johns at asda and vests at tesco. ( long sleeved black tesco's value range - size 12 bust 36 and cut label out!)
