We are looking to go to Borovets in Jan but my son will only be 7 in early March - ski lessons appear to be for 7 up only. Will they let him go to the ski lessons?
, usually they advise that under 7 s should join a kindergarden class due to their strength really not age.
i would say that your son will be too old for this as the average age is usually 5 and he will get bored very wuickly, my advice would be to ask for private tuition for your son, that way he wont hold up your group and he will learn very quickly.
Good luck

the main problem is that the instructor needs to look after the whole class, so if one young un plays up a bit it makes it really difficult for the instructor. However, if your little un will be learning its not so bad as they will be on the nursery slopes and if he gets too tired he can sit and watch for a bit. The age is not that relevant its more a question of size and how they will get on with it. My daughter was six last season and was in a race school for the season, so age is not the ...

Can I just support what Fraser says. We took our boys to Borovets a few years ago. They werent bothered about the age, youngest was 6, only on how they would get on in a group, and in anycase the instructors were so patient it was great It will be fine,
my lad started the ski school there at 5 age wasnt the problem just the ability factor so for 15 lev/hr he had a couple of 1 to 1 gor one great and in his 2nd year there managed a red.
our youngest daughters first ski trip was at age 6 and she joined her sister in ski school a couple of years ago. We were more concerned by it all than she ever was!
