ski lessons in borovets

Hi, we have booked the learn to ski package for beginners for us & 2 children. Does anyone know - will we be learning alongside the kids or will we be taken to separate slopes? If so, how do we meet up with them later? ( not sure our phones will work out there) Any advice please.

On the first day you can sort all that out with your rep. Where are you going?...I'm only familiar with Borovets but I'd imagine it's the same all over Bulgaria. You'll congregate with beginners yourselves (it's kinda automatic!!!) and arrangements re the kids can be sorted then, if they haven't already by then. Depending on how old your kids are you could buy a Bulgarian sim card with around £5 credit for about £6 and the guy in the shop will install it for you, provided you make sure ...

Calls -mobile to mobile are about 10p or less per minute. Otherwise, your UK phone will work no probs but at a cost of about 50p - 80p a minute!!!!

Yes if you are all beginners you can ski in the same group. Don't be surprized if your kids are upgraded after 2 days and leave you behind. That's what usually happens Razz

Hi Alison, our boys were first timers last year, aged 8 & 7. They went into ski school with our kids of similar ages and had a great time. We had a shock because we thought lessons were 10-12 and 1-3 however, the instructor took them off at 10, they all had lunch together, and we met them at 3pm at the arranged place. If you were delayed, the instructor stayed with them until you arrived! At first were very wary, but they had a brill time, and they did far more skiing than my husband who ...

And had gourmet meals of pizza every day and pop without us moaning!!!!!! Yvette
