Possibly some decent snow on Cairngorm this weekend, thought of taking the two kids up for a couple of days to brush up on techneque etc. Ski school at Cairngorm- 2 days 4 hours each day inc lift pass (restricted because of snow) and gear hire= 105 quid each! (no doubt windy, misty or blizzard conditions etc as is the usual up there).
5 Days in Borovets, instruction, and gear inc lift pass to (hopefully!), a greater piste area = 101 quid each!
Wonder why we head off to Bulgaria instead1
Balkan, 5 days kids instruction (not beginers), boot, ski & pole hire, plus lift pass for 101 quid. Obviously the hotel and flight was extra! (but still the cheapest!)
We booked full ski packs with Balkan for Pamps (half term week, so high season)and it cost £85 each - mind you we booked it last Feb! Fantastic value or what?
the cost of living in scotland is a lot more than in bulgaria so u cont realy compair the two. Olso there is no funding fi the so called british goverment,But its up to u if you want to go to scotland or not.I go to bulgaria second time on the 21st lernt in scotland and a think its a lot better and cheaper than the snowdomes which are £22 per hour you get a hole day in bonnie scotland fur that .
Please feel free to go it alone Beany, this "so called British government" does not have funding for much, like free students fee's, oh you do in Scotland...well...free elderly care.... oh you do in Scotland, funny, wonder who voted for that?... Oh all the scotish MP's that have nothing to do with England but vote on its issue's.
Ps it was North Sea Oil not Scotish Sea oil
Onmybumski you should move to Scotland if thats the case its great up here you are more than wellcome and by the way the north sea surounds Scotland. We dont claim the English chanel as Scottish do we just a thought !
