ski lift passes, bansko

Hi, does anyone know if worth buying ski lift passes before goimg to bansko this feb, and wot costs are? who and where to but for best deals, two adults, two children ages 13 & 15yrs.

A couple mentioned on the bus that they wished they had bought their passes in advance with their tour operator...they had to buy the pass when they got here but said they would have saved...but they didn't say by how much.

If you have booked a package holiday then buy before you go from your tour op as it is cheaper. If you are diy then you will have to buy in resort.

Did they ski/boared every day?

I know in Borovets it works out alot more unless you do about 3 days.

I think it was going to cost about £40 more than if they booked through their tour operator for 6 day pass.

I'm off to bansko myself and im diy yrt iv still pre booked my lift pass through a company in bansko they are even going to deliver my pass to the challet im staying at. There are a couple of companies in bansko that offer this service dont think i can mention any names on here though but just google "trail bansko" and youll come across the one i used.BINKP

Interesting site that M@tT. Not much difference from getting it @ the lift in fact if the £ goes back to around 2.2 levs it will be cheaper to buy it from the lift.

Ye I used them when the lev was less than 2 so it sort of made sense then. The pound has weakened slightly over the last few days though so it might end up being a wise decision.
