re: ski lift prices

Replacement lifts, more snowmaking, modern piste bashers - all very expensive, rediculous electicity prices, higher staff wages, inflation

re: ski lift prices

Have the new lift prices been released yet ? I think not.
280 Leva for 6 days £ 100 roughly is cheap compared to the rest of Europe.

re: ski lift prices

a friend who is a private ski instructor in Bansko says the prices have gone up this year - I do not know what the previous years lift passes have been but he says they are looking for between 2000 and 3000 levs for the season - that will be a special price no doubt to the bulgarians but he has said its much higher than previoius years.

re: ski lift prices

Wow....2OOO to 3OOO leva for a season pass!!!.
Last year I bought a season pass in Borovets for 13OO leva, the season before was 75O leva.I was skiing as much as possible and out of the whole season managed to get about 14 days free skiing in.If they increase the prices to what you are saying, I feel that to get your money's worth will be hard.
Whats everyone's thoughts if they raise the prices???

re: ski lift prices

I will wait to see what the prices are when they are published. ''I heard'' ..... sort of stuff is usually inaccurate.

re: ski lift prices

100 pounds for 6 days isn't cheap even when you compare it with a lot of places in the Alps. And one more thing-The ratio ski miles -price is the poorest in BG>The only thing which is cheap is coffee some drings and fake clothing and CDs.But hey, for 6 days it does not matter.
