usually cheaper through agent, ski area in borovets is larger than pamps so will be more expensive, £165 for ski pass, boot and ski hire plus 4 hours of tuition a day is still pretty good value.
£165 all in is a great price, you won't be disappointed! If you look at all the tour operators they are all about the same, as well as the independants. It's usually a lot more expensive to do it all in resort when you arrive.
Hi
Went to Borovets for easter 07 and only booked lift pass thru balkan hols prior to arrival. I hired boots, skis and poles at the Popangelov hotel which cost me 50 lev - (about £20) for 3 days hire. They were fantastic quality and fit compared with others in my group who had pre-booked and got theirs from the hire place opposite the Rila.
Good luck - you will love Borovets - we will definitely go back. It is soooo cheap and we had a great family holiday.
