does anyone know if the ski road in bansko will be open next week? & will there be night skiing next week?re: ski road
Night skiing is done on a Saturday and costs 12 leva. New snow this week so ski road should be open fine.Val

Will the upper ski road be open - the one that runs from the end of run 12 (on the far left) down to runs 16/17 (by the middle gondola station)? Can you get from 16/17 down onto run 1 (by going off piste)? When I was there last year the lower runs were quite slushy and 16/17 were closed, so didn't get to try.re: ski road
Yup - all open at the moment. I toyed with the idea of skiing that run this morning but changed my mind and went back up to the top of Tordorka again - which is my fave. Snow/ski conditions are great at the moment and have been absolutely super the last 2 days as its been clear sun, blue skys but firm compact snow - no slush.
More snow is forecast the next couple of days - lucky you! Hope you have a super time - I am just waiting for transfer to airport now - boo hoo - the week has gone ...
