hello...... just wondering what is this talk of a ski road in bansko. what is it??????????
i am just after booking a holiday at hotel lion.... can ya ski back to this hotel in the evenings, or do ya have to walk or get a bus???? and oh ya can`t wait to go
The ski road is only covering the distance between the start and the end of the gondola. Sorry to disappoint you but there is no skiing back to the hotel ( only Kempinski) . Bus/taxi ride or walk if the hotel is near the gondola.
to get from the town to the ski slope you get on the godola which is a 20 min ride. At the top of the godola you can go up the mountain on various lifts and ski the ski area, or ski back down to the bottom of the gondola. It is a gentle blue and great for beginers, but you dont see many people on it until the end of the day when everyone uses it to get back to town instead of using the gondola again.
The lion is a 10 min stoll across the slope of the town and is in a great position. 10 mins ...
