Hi there,
We got back from Boro last Saturday and I was worried that we would be seperated from our kids as they are only 7 and 10. We were all first timers.
We had no problems at all. As soon as we had collected our skis and stuff from the Ski hire, we went outside where we were put into groups and we got with another family with kids, so we had a fantastic time. I get the impression that it is entirely up to you as to whether you want to stay with your kids or go into different groups ...

Have a great time!
Hi Jack, did the tour company try and get your 7yr old to ski through kindergarden? Thomsons say we can swop from kindergarden to normal ski school once we are in the resort. (Not sure what extras we will have to pay for)! Hope this is right, because he wants to ski with his brother, who is 8 and booked into ski school. Any advise much appreciated. Yvette
Hi Yvette,
We booked through Inghams and booked the child's ski package as it said it was available from age 7.
If I were you I would do all I could to change from Kindergarten to ski package through your tour company as I know everything, from lift passes to ski hire etc. costs a lot more when you are in the resort than if you have pre-booked, and I don't think the kindergarten package includes a lift pass which you might end up paying rather a lot for once you are there!
Hope this ...

Hi Jack, thanks for the info. I will try again with Thomsons, but they were adament they couldn't/wouldn't do it this end. Looking in the brochure, you are right, lift pass not included, so looks like we will be adding additional costs to the holiday. Happy though, that at least they can go to ski school together, even it incurs extra costs!. Thanks again. Yvette
As I've said before you do not need a lift pass for a child of 7 so please try not to worry about this - the instructors don't use passes either and hop children through the gates with them. All the UK companies exercise different rules re: minimum ages - haven't a clue why.

The Borosport main ski school office is in the main entrance to the Rila Hotel just to the right of the lifts. Go in there on arrival if necessary and see what you can sort out straight away.
