re: ski school

Hi lucy, we've just come back on sunday am, and we took a four year old with us who went in the kindergarten as she wasnt old enough to come into beginers ski school, i think its 7 or 8. But honestly we had no problems with kindergarten. its £80 for six days (but as we had bought 8 ski packages when we got there they said it was free, even better. We dropped her off any time after 9am, the lady always greeted her calling her name with a big smile and hug, and collected her at 3pm when skii schools were finishing, and on several days she didnt want to come out as she hadn't finished her painting!!! You could pick her up for lunch if you want but we left her in and she had sausage and chips every day.
In the mornings they played inside, painting and stuff. After dinner they took them out on skis on like a little playground with magic carpets etc. Then back in to play some more. She had lots of friends and loved it there, and couldn't wait to go the next day.
Also, in the afternoon, once we'd finished ski school we asked to borrrow the baby skis, or a sledge so we could have playtime on the nursery slopes with her before going back to the hotel.
I think if you wanted your son to have ski lessons you would probably have to have private ones. We prefered the kindergarten because we thought four hours ski lessons would be too much.
That was our experience of the kindergarten hopes this helps.

re: ski school

I took my son to pamporovo when he was 4 for the first time and he had private lessons for the first 2 holidays. He was skiing black runs at 6 and this year at 7 he did the wall and snowboarding. If skiing is going to be a regular holiday then I would advise the lessons as then you can enjoy family skiing very soon. My son personally would have hated kindergarten as he wanted to ski and its a great age to learn. Also as pamporovo doesn't take kids into ski school normally til they are 8 he ...

My son personally would have hated kindergarten as he wanted to ski and its a great age to learn. Also as pamporovo doesn't take kids into ski school normally til they are 8 he still wouldn't be able to ski. I think its a personal choice in the end. Hope this helps. Very Happy Very Happy
