I have recently booked a holiday in Bansko through a large travel agency and they inform me that the hotels charge you for equipment storage - is this true or a rip off ???

Yes its true, but not a rip off, for about £5 a week they will look after your skis and boots. So to look after over £500 (my ski gear) of ski equipment for a fiver, how can this be a rip off.
