never been to boro before. What times to the lifts start and finish?what are the mountain restuarants like? Is it possible to get a luchtime meal at one of these places
Is it true to all the ski instructors are local bulgarians that will try and chat up any old guy?

Ski School usually starts around 10 till 12. Then a break for lunch and off again.Finishing at 3.30pm
Lifts stay open until 4.30pm so time to practice what you have learnt.
Dont go up to the top on the last run if you are not capable of getting down in under an hour as it is dark by 5pm.

The mountaiun restaurants are good. A little more expensive than in resort but what is a couple of lev between friends! Remember they have to get the foos up the mountain in the first place.
If you are in a ski group then your instructor will take you to one and you tend to stay together. The instructor will eat free. This is the case for all of them so don't get het up that you are only in that restaurant because it is free for him/her! They could go next door and it would be the ...

If you need the loo then it costs a lev! Lots of people complain about this but if you need to go then you need to go and there aren't many places in the world where someone tears off a sheet of loo roll for you!!
Each evening your instructor will discuss with your groups a time and place to meet the next morning, usually about 9.30-10.00. You finish skiing between 4.00 and 4.30pm. In Borovets you can night ski until 10.00ish but you need to buy a seperate pass from the ski office in the Rila. Your instructor can advise you on this.
My experience of the instructors is that they are all great and yes of course they are Bulgarian. Not seen many male instructor chatting up old guys mind so hope you won't be disaapointed on that count. They are very friendly and in general go out of their way to make it a great holiday for you.
