going to snow and rock in romford tomoz, wonder if anyone has any experiences of the ski boots with ski/walk mode on them ,just wondering whether it another thing that could go wrong, any ones to avoid or any must haves.
regards gary
this system has been around for ages, just loosens the heel/ankle, no problem and nothing to be worried about, and although the boots will cost you more here, you wont get a better fit than s&r get them to fit moulded foot beds as well its worth the cost
all the best

Just a little bit of advice. If you are an advanced to expert skier you might want to go for a boot that does not have the walk mode so you get a little bit more stifness in it. Think about how long you plan to walk in ski boots. When you think about it, you would normally not do a lot of walking and a walk mode does not make a lot of difference.
I back up what Fraser and Sarah have said. Get foot beds. They make a hell of a lot of difference to the confort of a ski boot.
