re: ski/walk mode boots

this system has been around for ages, just loosens the heel/ankle, no problem and nothing to be worried about, and although the boots will cost you more here, you wont get a better fit than s&r get them to fit moulded foot beds as well its worth the cost
all the best

re: ski/walk mode boots

Gidday Gary,

Just a little bit of advice. If you are an advanced to expert skier you might want to go for a boot that does not have the walk mode so you get a little bit more stifness in it. Think about how long you plan to walk in ski boots. When you think about it, you would normally not do a lot of walking and a walk mode does not make a lot of difference.
I back up what Fraser and Sarah have said. Get foot beds. They make a hell of a lot of difference to the confort of a ski boot.

re: ski/walk mode boots

Hi

I must admit I like the walk mode in my Nordica boots and they have an additional adjustment at the back for Carver and Slalom for extra control.
