Hi, we're going to borovets in feb. Has anyone been on the skidoos, do they get booked up, how much are they, would anyone recommend them?

Hi Jane,
We went back in Feb, one the ones at Borovets. If I remember correctly, it was £20 each, for about an hour and a half. I'm not sure if they get booked up, worth checking with your ski instructor. They are very exhilarating, and thats coming from someone who rides a modern sportsbike. I hit the gas for a short while, and they REALLY take off, leave yourself room if your going to do that.

hey banknote , what a story , cany beat that.
but i went to boro last year , friend and i went on the skidoos , it was good fun , we went at night , well worth it at least once.
one piece of advice , wrap up warm and allways wear your goggles.
we had a skiddoo each (normally 2 share ) i think we paid about £40 .

You're right about wrapping up warm Kel, sorry forgot that bit.
They certainly move when you open the throttle don't they. There was me thinking "how can anything on snow get enough grip to really accelerate", how wrong I was !! Great fun !!.

re: skidoos

£20???
£40????

We rode skidoos about 4 times in lapland last year. it was included in the price of course. They had mini skidoos for ther kids, and at other times we took the kids on the back and then took off! Just like riding a motorbike really.
I think i'll pass if it's that much though.
Thought Bulgaria was cheap??? Confused
