My wife was talking to a skier the other day. This peron said that boardes know that skiers have prioity on the slope. Is this a general rule or is she just a skier who has got her head stuck firmly in her rearward facing orrifice?
She is obviously a bit of a knob head. Priority goes to the person in front, it you are approaching from behind you have to give the person infront the priority.
I would imagine that skiiers should where possible give way to boarders. The fact is that a boarder leading with their left foot has a very limited view over their left shoulder uphill, creating a blind spot. Skiiers on the other hand have equal vision behind them left and right. Also boarders who are novices / intermediates will need more space to turn that a skiier...
