Hi me my entire family and young kids are going to borovets over christmas, reading every ones comments not sure its a good idea now. Can any one tell me any thing good about the place? Are the hotels really that bad? Is the kindergarten ok?re: skiing at christmas

Hi Kerry,don't worry about the hotels, normally it's just a food thing but I have no problems with it (I go for the ski, not the food
)Which hotel? Like Neil say, you will have a fab time, trust me!

Relax, as the previous messages say ,the hotels are ok and the food is ok , not fantastic but ok, Please dont misunderstand they are ok, but if you dont like the food in the hotel there is plenty of choice all around the resort.
have fun , just prey for snow.

Which Hotel in Borovets?Which Kindergarten the one with Inghams is excellent as run by English nannies. There are also facilities in The Rila and Samakov Hotels! How old are the children?

Hi, we stayed out there last christmas and and a fantastic time, so we have booked again for this christmas and loads of others are coming with us because we has such fun. All of the hotels are fine and there is not bad things going on as you read, you get bad things all over the world so just go with an open mind, you will love it our daughter is 10 and she can't wait to go again and we meet some great people out there to who we have stayed in contact with and they are coming out there ...

Dont worry, we stayed at the Rila last year and have booked again for this year. Hotel is fine, food not great but at £5 per head for a chinese banquet who can complain. We too three children with us and they cant wait to go back.re: skiing at christmas
We have skiied Borovets for the past 3 years and have had great times. Trust me you will love it also. Stayed in Olymp and Samokov both of which area bit basic but the all day ski school, cheap goods and excellent night life more than make up for this. Only one tip if you are in a hotel - Make sute you lock the door even when in the room! There are some nasty crims who watch when you leave your room and then try the door just in case you left it undone. I suffered the embarrassment of this ...
