from the Sofia Echo today...looks like Pamps is the place to be.....& the Greeks are coming despite their crisis!

Makes sense to me.
They can drive to bansko and pamps and borovets while oter ski resorts around Europe would not be possible to drive to so they save in air fares.
Plus it's a cheaper resort than others in Europe so it would seem that those Greeks who go elsewhere are staying closer to home.
Good for Bulgaria but do they eat out as much as the British?? I'm not sure I think Greeks take sandwiches up mountain then sit at a resterunt table eating sandwich while those who have bought a ...

I am welsh but living in greece and trust me greeks eat out and its the brits who are most likely to take sandwiches up the mountain as i have seen with my own eyes them taking bottles of spirits into the bars and just ordering a coke and topping their drinks up with vodka when they think no one is looking.................

Yes they do, bloody annoying cos they cant handle what they buy in the pub let alone the cheap tesco vodka they bring with them...And talking about alcohol welshy you got plenty of spare socks this trip!!! can you make the dtes Francis?
We will have to give bobby a song when we get there, nothing like an avalanch for fresh snow on the lower slopes!!!! LOL
