skis on planes

how much does it cost to take skis on planes and does it have to be part of your entitlement of 20kgs?? i was wondering as i am thinking of buying my own skis and boots, or do you think that the equipment at most ski resorts is more than up to a intermidiate skier, thanks Very Happy Booze

re: skis on planes

Costs between £15 & £20 to take your skis on the plane and if you buy a big ski bag you can get alot of your ski gear in there and still have your 20kgs for other things

re: skis on planes

i paid 15 quid for my snowboard to go with me but I have pre-paid this to make it easier for ourselves.

I am guna back my board bag with everything then just have a tiny case for any extras as the weight is only for your main case - thats why you pay the 15 quid

have a good one !
