skis

This will be my 4th year skiing in Borovets. The last 4 years I have hired skis and had lessons but this year I am only purchasing the lift pass (no lessons!) Should I buy skis in U.K., hire them in resort or perhaps purchase some in resort? And can anyone advise on how to choose a pair, as they are usually just handed over the hire counter and i have no idea where to start? Confused

re: skis

I've just paid 450 leva for Blizzard 2007 Carver skis in Pamporovo and that is about 40% cheaper than in the UK.

Nuff said I hope Wink

If You are going to buy in Borovets go and see Christo in the White Magic bar which is opposite the Samokov hotel.
