sledging for the kids in Borovets

Hi All

Having done our first summer in Bulgaria, we are now looking at our first winter! We staying at the Lion hotel and I just wondered how easy it was to get hold of sledges for the kids, can we buy or rent them out there? Alternatively it looks like Decathlon already have them in so we could take them with us.

It will be our first skiing holiday so I'm trying to go prepared!!

If you are staying in borovets, just outside the rila is sledges to rent if you have little ones, if they are bigger you can by big bum boards quite cheaply, adults have fun on these to, especially after you come out of the pub.

I did this for free out side of the rila hotel. There is a bar just up from the boroski 1 rental shop. if you ask there one of the firendly guys out side will get u one. saves buying or renting them.

If you have a meal in the crown they let the kids borrow sledges. excellant food by the way.

Thanks for the tips- doesn't sound like it's worth taking anything with us? Where's the best place for skidoos and can you take the kids on the back?
