hi we are going to borovets 20 dec - 27 dec first time sking what are the chances of there being snow at this time of year ?? as my daughter is worried that it is not going to snow.re: snow ????

I do think you are worrying without reason, although quite understandably.
Last year was a real exception with snow cover arriving in mid November, but this is very rarely the case in Bulgaria.
When the snow does arrive, cover is very quick, and this usually comes around 2nd week of December. Within 2 days the bashers will have the slopes prepared and the lifts will start to roll.
The snow cover reports on this site will not be updated until the first fall arrives, then it ...
